Is anyone able to advise me as to how I can make a pitch without recourse to either a video or an audio clip? I have neither the tools, the expertise nor the inclination. I'm a writer - I simply want to write my pitch & post it!
Many thanks

Hi
after looking at your website I am imagining a very unusal pitch. Your site has a real atmosphere to it, I'm sure your pitch would as well.
I hope you find someone to help you soon
love

Thank you for that. And you are probably right - I need to bite the bullet & find someone willing to assist me in making a short film. I just wish there was an opt-out option. My guess is, once agents do find this site, most of them will be perfectly happy to simply read a pitch.
It goes without saying, I wish you all the luck in the world on your own journey.
There is information about my book on my website www.dragonflying.net

Perhaps you could put your written pitch into something like powerpoint and then find a way of saving it in one of the acceptable formats...but I would have thought it was simplier just to find a friend with a mobile phone and get them to film you.
I know that's not what writing is about...but if it's just writing you want to do then you can do that without pitching anything. If you are pitching then you are asking to be a part and parcel of a world that includes things like video, media, computers. Your asking to be a marketable comodity. Sad but true!
Ask around, perhaps you have a friend who can help.
I hope you do, because it sounds like you are a very commited writer. I'm sure your pitch will be interesting.
Good luck.
