Digging deeper, I discovered more; Kutji Spirits, alien encounters and the like.
Which led to me writing StarChild, the third of my novels.
It's completed now, and will (as soon as I pluck up the courage and some accompanying words!) face the camera and do a scintillating video. I'd love to know if the following hooks anyone:
When a pair of Australian teenagers stumble upon an ancient Australian cave painting, the discovery cracks open a modern day Pandora?s box involving NASA, a killer on the run, a UFO and tantalizing evidence of Man's origin.
On a routine mission, NASA?s space shuttle detects an orbiting pod. Unknown to them, it contains the remains of an ancient artist, a trio of fossils and a menacing Aboriginal spirit who?s instinct is to cause havoc. That?s when extraterrestrials communicate a demand to NASA for the manufacture a miniature star.
Three years later, space shuttle Endurance gains orbit to make delivery of StarChild. But a blunder in space ensues; the shuttle crash-lands, sinking into a river delta near remote Australian town Useless Loop. The orbiting pod hurtles into the sea nearby. Nothing except stranded tourist David Blake -- on the run from a killer -- can prevent catastrophe as aliens materialize to collect what is theirs.
