I have just read a proof of a fantastic first Novel called Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith [ a 28 year old Cambridge Educated screen writer ].
The proof says that it is published by Hachette this month but that may just be in the USA at this stage .
Film rights have already been sold
It is a novel set in Stalin's Russia and it is gripping . Watch out for it . !!
