English mime, musician, photographer and actor Tim Dry was featured as ?J?Quille ? Whiphid? and a ?Mon Calamari Officer? in Star wars Episode VI ?Return Of The Jedi?. These are his honest, amusing, irreverent and very often surreal recollections of being in the movie and of his subsequent appearances twenty years later at Star Wars Conventions all over the world in the 2000s.

If this book is half as much fun as seeing that Tim will be attending a signing, to meet up in person and share some dry (heh) sarcastic fun - then it should be a riot.

Well, it may even cause a riot, who knows?

I wanna know when it comes out!

But then again, I seem to have turned into the Alan Rickman character from Galaxy Quest, after visiting a few events...

Great website, Tim.
Fantastic entertainment in itself!

Be Seeing You! (somewhere in a Galaxy, far far away...)

Hi TD
Hey as so perfectly put by the wonderful Barbie Wilde, if this book is as half as good as "Falling Upwards" is, (another Tim Dry book that everyone should get) then this will be a sensational read, having first hand, and importantly honest and without ego, insight to the incredable world of Sci-Fi Conventions will be intersting on it's own, but adding in the writing skills, humour and wit of Tim Dry and the book is a sure fire winner...Can't wait for the release...

Good luck Tim (not that you will need it like...)

This pitch makes the book sound like a winner! If it's as well-written, waspishly funny and vividly descriptive as Mr. Dry's autobiography 'Falling Upwards', then I'm sure that 'Continuum' will do very well indeed.

Ah, it all makes sense now.
I'm sure everyone can empathise with 'technical difficulties', not just the double pitch thing, but also the insertation of ? in place of '
fun fun fun

Dear Zaziwe Jo

My book is as yet unpublished, hence the need for a marketplace pitch. I'm currently trying to resolve the uploading of 2 identical files at the same time. Bear with me, the book is so much greater than the sum of its technological parts.

Having been to www.timdry.co.uk I now feel very foolish. Hopefully my other comment will be useful to first time authors.
Although I'm still confused as to whether this is a published or unpublished work. If published - congratulations and shouldn't this be on the other part of the site (although you do have to pay for that don't you)
If unpublished - then I'm sure not for long!

Hey, you had a bonus 15 seconds of your 2 mins to go when your pitch ended.
I want to read part three.
Is this book published already? The final shot made me think you may have self published? Or maybe you have just slipped into the wrong section of the site and are already established as an author.
If not -
then good pitch, very engaging
I'd imagine an agent looking to take you one would want to know what they'd get out of you next - what would book two be?
Also - what is your writing like?
If it's anything like your pitch then you'll be fine.
