I've self published my book of jazz portraits. You can see them at www.jazzfolio.com. I'm looking for an established art book publihser to take on the project.

I have just got myself a copy of Jazz Impressions - fantastic. I can't believe that it isn't available in bookshops or even music shops. I highly recommend it as a present for every jazz fan, or anyone who appreciates art. Come on publishers, you're overlooking a great book!

The proposition that Miles Davis was born in Rochdale, a calumny that possibly stems from Dan Brown, is pursued in a recent piece by Umberto Eco titled " Gracie Fields - The Funk Album ". In it, other arcane Rochdale connections surface and are dismissed. What is certain is that the musicians portrayed in "Impressions" are mainly American, with only a few aliens, ( such as Airto, Toots Thielemans, and John McLaughlin).

I've been to jazzfolio site and the drawings are fantastic! You mention that all the pictures are published in a catalogue, I would really like to get hold of a copy. Are they only available through the website?
